The Spirit is moving in places we were once told were “outside” — and we’re learning to follow Her there.

Progressive Christianity calls us to a faith that doesn’t shy away from the hard questions. It asks us to confront racism, climate injustice, economic inequality, and exclusion — not as political issues, but as spiritual ones. Jesus didn’t avoid the margins; He lived there. To follow Him today means standing with the marginalized, even when it’s uncomfortable.

In 2025, many of us are learning to read the Bible with fresh eyes — not as a weapon, but as a wellspring of liberation. We honor its complexity, wrestle with its contradictions, and seek the heart of God within its pages. We ask not “Is this literal?” but “Is this loving?” And that question changes everything.

It’s about embodying the radical hospitality of Jesus — who broke bread with outcasts and washed the feet of betrayers.

And hope — always hope — over despair.
